Hi, I've been getting random "CSV paused going into redirected Mode" Events on my SOFS cluster. reason is C000000e and C00000C4, I initially though this was because of DPM, but there are no backups occurring during this events.
This is a two node cluster running 2012R2, my backend Storage is EMC SAN. so I am creating the CSV volumes from the SAN storage, and taking advantage of CSV caching and SMB3.0, as our EMC cannot provide SMB3.0 shares via the celerra.
Even though I am getting these cluster events, I am not seeing the CSV's getting paused in the cluster manager and no VM's seemed to be getting affected by this issue, I can only assume the issue is happening for milliseconds.
its still worrying though.
The Servers are BL460c G7, with FlexFabric 553 cards, fully patched firmware and drivers. the servers are using EMC powerpath, the correct supported version for 2012R2, and this shows no issues.
The OS is also fully patched on both nodes. I have turned of AV (which is endpoint protection).
we have an enterprise agreement so I am thinking of opening a support case for this issue.
but I thought I would share and see if anyone else has any other suggestions.
